Hybrid Poultry Farm (Z) was established in 1961 and has maintained a leading role in the Zambian poultry industry ever since. Having weathered many tough challenges over the years and various changes in ownership, Hybrid Poultry has remained resilient.

Today, after substantial investment, Hybrid Poultry boasts seven refurbishment broiler breeding farms each with a capacity of 65, 000 breeder parents, two commercial hatcheries capable of producing 600, 000 Day Old Chicks per week, one grand parent farm, hatchery and three broiler farms.
